Keeping Those Nerves in Check!

Rebecca, you mentioned on your driving lessons leading up to your test that you were starting to feel a bit nervous. Well, you certainly didn’t let your nerves get the better of you and you had an absolutely cracking drive.

You also told me that you have been learning to drive on and off for a couple of years now and that you were unsure if the day you sat a driving test would ever arrive. That day has arrived and you can be proud that you PASSED with flying colours!!

Driving With Confidence

You’re the first to acknowledge that your concentration isn’t the greatest at the best of times Rebecca! But, over the last few weeks your concentration levels improved significantly, which in turn allowed you to grow more confident with your driving enabling you to PASS your practical driving test 1st attempt!

Feeling Scared – REALLY?

When I text you the night before your driving test to remind you which documents to bring with you, you text back saying how scared you were feeling about your test.

You certainly didn’t look that scared the following morning when I picked you up Yvonne, either that or you’re picking up a few tips from your partner Mark on how to look relaxed on the outside whilst feeling a little anxious on the inside!!

A Life Changing Experience

On your first driving lesson with myself Yvonne, you mentioned having previously taken several driving lessons and a driving test with another driving school about three years ago. You also said that at the time you didn’t feel ready or confident enough to go for a driving test.

I hope this time around, deep down you felt more confident in your own ability behind the wheel and that has helped you to PASS your driving test!

Grab Those Car Keys and Go For a Spin!

Having both you and Mark just recently purchased a Volkswagen Polo, no doubt you’ll be itching to get behind the wheel and clock up a few miles on a sunny afternoon drive. Lets just hope there aren’t too many arguments about who’s driving!

You text me about an hour before your driving lesson on the day of your test Kieron to tell me how nervous you felt, well you didn’t let those nerves get the better of you and you drove smooth and confident as always!

Four Wheels Better Than Two!

Now you have your full drivers licence you’ll be able to take the missus and kids out on day trips when it gets a bit warmer, not an easy thing to do when you’ve been using a motorbike for the last few years!!

Even sitting in on your practical driving test, you didn't seem at all phased with the Driving Examiner sitting along side you.

Paul passed his driving test 1st attempt at South Shields driving test centre with only 5 recorded driving faults!

Just Like Riding a Bike! 

"Even though you hadn't driven a car before your first driving lesson with Simply Driving Tuition Driving School, we soon established you were commuting to and from work on a mountain bike and were able to draw similarities between riding a bicycle and driving a motor vehicle.

Brakes to slow you down, steering to turn corners and gears to help you make progress, they all do the same job no matter what type of vehicle it is.

Experience Counts

Not only did you quickly gain confidence with basic vehicle control, you also transferred your experience in dealing with traffic into your driving as well, although at times you did need a little encouragement…

Once or twice I seem to remember asking, “Would you have pulled out there if you had been on your bike?” and you replied “Yes, I wouldn’t have thought twice!”

No worries, you got there in the end and got a cracking test result.

It won’t be long before your driving home to see family and friends in Ulverston, no doubt your girlfriend is looking forward to a relaxing journey in the passenger seat!

Congratulations to Viktorija Budvytyte of Fulwell Grange, Sunderland who completed her Pass Plus driver training course on Thursday 30th June 2011…

Viktorija decided to further develop her driving by completing a Pass Plus training course having passed her practical driving test at Sunderland Driving Test Centre on Saturday 25th June 2011.

Having completed her Pass Plus training, Viktorija said: 

"I'm really glad I decided to do the Pass Plus course as it gave me additional experience in driving on busy motorways, how to deal with oncoming vehicles on narrow country lanes using passing places, city centre driving, night time driving, further training on dual-carriageways and bad weather driving which we covered last winter in the snow!

Anyone thinking of doing Pass Plus shouldn't hesitate as it's very worthwhile"
