Not everyone passes their driving test at the first time of asking Ben, but you were determined to pass and you stuck with it and achieved your goal - even if you were a little surprised when the Driving Test Examiner announced you had PASSED!
Family Visits
You mentioned during your driving lessons you have family in Yorkshire and that you're looking forward to driving down there to visit them. Lets hope you get a car soon and it won't be long before you're heading down the A1(m) on that first trip!

Just Like Riding a Bike!
"Even though you hadn't driven a car before your first driving lesson with Simply Driving Tuition Driving School, we soon established you were commuting to and from work on a mountain bike and were able to draw similarities between riding a bicycle and driving a motor vehicle.
Brakes to slow you down, steering to turn corners and gears to help you make progress, they all do the same job no matter what type of vehicle it is.
Experience Counts
Not only did you quickly gain confidence with basic vehicle control, you also transferred your experience in dealing with traffic into your driving as well, although at times you did need a little encouragement…
Once or twice I seem to remember asking, “Would you have pulled out there if you had been on your bike?” and you replied “Yes, I wouldn’t have thought twice!”
No worries, you got there in the end and got a cracking test result.
It won’t be long before your driving home to see family and friends in Ulverston, no doubt your girlfriend is looking forward to a relaxing journey in the passenger seat!

But, your confidence grew throughout your driving lessons and by the second mock driving test you looked a totally different person behind the wheel.
I couldn’t believe how calm you seemed when you jumped in the car this morning, and although you were a little nervous leading up to the start of the test I think you were actually looking forward to it.

driving faults' on her driving test, one of which was for the minimum tyre tread depth on the Show-me, Tell-me questions… I’m sure you won’t forget it’s 1.6mm not 2mm from now on Katherine!!

Anxious Times
You said you were getting anxious about passing your driving test sooner rather than later Kate, what with work experience coming up. But you stayed focused and drove to your full potential during one of the most nerve racking moments in any ones life.

The Driving Examiners comments at the end of the test said it all, "As for the debrief, there's nothing to report back as you have no driving faults!"
