Early Christmas Present

That's a nice early Christmas present for yourself James, all you need now is that little Citroen C2 you've promised yourself and you can park your motorbike up for the winter and stay warm travelling to and from work these next few months!

Not many people can claim to have passed with no driving faults what so ever. Something you can be very proud of.

Easy Does It!

You should find it a little easier now doing the old nursery run during the day, especially when you're on night shift.

It was a pleasure meeting you Scott, especially when we realised you work in the same department at NISSAN I used to work. Don't forget to say hi to the lads for me when you next see them!

Driving Test Nerves!

You were a little nervous throughout the driving test Craig, which did show in your driving, but, deep down we both know how confidently you can drive when not in a test situation.

Fully Qualified Now.

Now that you're a FULLY QUALIFIED driver, I bet you can't wait for your mam to add you to her insurance policy and start commuting to and from work by car. Should allow you to have a bit of a lie in as you won't be catching the Metro any more!

Congratulations to Simon Malcolm from Thorney Close, Sunderland on PASSING your practical driving test at the 1st ATTEMPT with Simply Driving Tuition on Friday 8 May 2015 at Sunderland Driving Test Centre...

Feeling Nervous The Driving Lesson Before!

You told me on your driving lesson the day before the test how nervous you were feeling Simon, well, you certainly put those nerves to bed on test day and absolutely nailed it.   ONLY 6 recorded(minor) driving faults!

BIG Achievement

This is an even BIGGER achievement because of the fact you suffer from ADHD, a condition you have had to learn to manage since a young age. You were determined not to let this defeat you and even though you've waited a little longer than most to sit your driving test at the 'grand old age of 36 years old' you have achieved your goal.

I'm glad I was able to help (in a small way) you achieve this.

It's certainly been an education throughout your driving lessons Simon, with the insight you have given me into how it feels having to cope with ADHD on a daily basis. In future, I hope to put that knowledge to good use with pupils who may suffer the same illness.

Again, WELL DONE, good luck for the future and 'happy motoring' from your driving instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Congratulations to Jack Harvey from Fulwell in Sunderland on PASSING his practical driving test 1st ATTEMPT with Simply Driving Tuition Driving School on Wednesday 4 March 2015 at Sunderland Driving Test Centre...

Smooth As Silk and ONLY 3 Faults!

You had an absolutely cracking drive Jack, smooth as silk over all and ONLY 3 recorded driving faults! You looked calm and confident throughout your driving test, not easy considering the amount of road works you had to contend with and on a couple of very busy roundabouts as well.

It's been an absolute pleasure teaching you to drive these last few weeks Jack, I hope you've enjoyed learning to drive as much as I've enjoyed training you. The way you approached your driving lessons was bang on, just like your girlfriend Rebecca and her sister Katherine. (and you PASSED 1st attempt just like them!)...

Good luck for the future from your driving instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Testing Conditions!

The weather certainly wasn't on your side Mohamed, you mentioned they were the worst conditions you have ever driven in, including with your driving instructor Ian throughout your driving lessons. Heavy rain and lots of standing water to contend with, not ideal on your driving test!

Because of this you seemed quite surprised when the driving test examiner congratulated you on PASSING your driving test.

It was a pleasure getting to know you Mohamed and being able to help you PASS your driving test. Good luck for the future and HAPPY motoring from your driving instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Congratulations to Christine Carr from Monkwearmouth, Sunderland on PASSING her practical driving test 1st ATTEMPT with Simply Driving Tuition Driving School on Thursday 16 October 2014 at Sunderland Driving Test Centre...

Convinced I Won't Pass - Really?

Christine, during your driving lessons you convinced yourself that you wouldn't pass your driving test at the first attempt so you wouldn't be too disappointed if that were to happen. Well, you can put those thoughts to rest now and be proud of what you've achieved today!

Grab Those Car Keys

All you need do now is arrange your car insurance, dust the Ford Focus off, grab those car keys and go for a spin. Might pay to wait until the sun comes out, save you having to wash it straight after!

It's been a pleasure helping you pass your driving test Christine, you took my advice on board, used the driving experience you already had and put into practise the things we tightened up on your driving. Safe motoring and best wishes from your driving instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Talk about testing your hazard perception skills on the driving lesson leading up to your driving test, white van man doing his best to pull out in front of you and some chaps dog deciding to go for walkies on its own on a 40mph dual carriageway!

Testing Times!

Now that you have finished your exams for university this year and PASSED your driving test you can chill out and relax a little bit now Lizzie. All you need to do now is find that little Ford KA you’ve decided to treat yourself too which should help make your commute to and from work so much easier.

Congratulations to Dave Ridley from Monkwearmouth, Sunderland on PASSING his practical driving test 1st ATTEMPT with Simply Driving Tuition Driving School on Saturday 7 June 2014 at South Shields Driving Test Centre with ONLY 4 minor driving faults…

Having ridden motorcycles for the last few years Dave decided to try four wheels instead of two and booked driving lessons with ourselves leading up to his driving test.

Happy to Step In and Help!

After taking several driving lessons with another driving instructor and having been unsuccessful at his first driving test attempt, Dave decided to give Simply Driving Tuition a call. We were more than HAPPY to step in and offer any advice we could to help Dave PASS his next practical driving test.

No More Getting Soaked To The Bone

Even though it was pouring with rain on your driving test Dave, you were sitting nice and warm and dry in the driving school car, not getting soaked through to the bone as you would normally be on your motorbike. Guess you've got creature comforts like a heater and windscreen wipers to look forward too now!

Glad we could help you pass your driving test this weekend Dave, all you need to do now is arrange your insurance for the Vectra you have sitting on your mams driveway and away you go.

Enjoy your new motoring lifestyle, best wishes from your driving Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Congratulations to Abbe Cuthbertson from Fulwell in Sunderland, on PASSING her practical driving test with ONLY 3 recorded driving faults on Thursday 1 May 2014 at Sunderland Driving Test Centre (DTC)...

I know it took a couple of attempts to pass Abbe but, next driving lesson you asked lots of questions about the problem on test and got plenty of practise in those situations when possible.

Practise Makes Perfect!

Over the next few driving lessons you kept practising what you had learnt with your driving instructor as well as gaining more experience with pedestrian crossings in busy areas during half term, Pallion shopping centre certainly springs to mind!

This time round you didn't seem quite so nervous going for your driving test, which I'm sure helped boost your confidence just that little bit more.

Everyone's a Little Nervous on the Day!

If anyone tells you they weren't nervous before their driving test - DON'T BELIEVE THEM!

Even experienced drivers get a few butterfly's before test, it's only natural. You certainly kept on top of those nerves and put in an absolutely 'cracking' drive, even with the Driving Examiner mispronouncing your name!

It's been an absolute pleasure helping you learn to drive Abbe, good luck with your forthcoming exams and the rest of your studies. Drive safe and best wishes from your Driving Instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.

Keeping Those Nerves in Check!

Rebecca, you mentioned on your driving lessons leading up to your test that you were starting to feel a bit nervous. Well, you certainly didn’t let your nerves get the better of you and you had an absolutely cracking drive.

You also told me that you have been learning to drive on and off for a couple of years now and that you were unsure if the day you sat a driving test would ever arrive. That day has arrived and you can be proud that you PASSED with flying colours!!

Driving With Confidence

You’re the first to acknowledge that your concentration isn’t the greatest at the best of times Rebecca! But, over the last few weeks your concentration levels improved significantly, which in turn allowed you to grow more confident with your driving enabling you to PASS your practical driving test 1st attempt!

Even though Yvonne found the driving test a SCARY thought, she had a FANTASTIC drive receiving only 4 minor driving faults!

Feeling Scared – REALLY?

When I text you the night before your driving test to remind you which documents to bring with you, you text back saying how scared you were feeling about your test.

You certainly didn’t look that scared the following morning when I picked you up Yvonne, either that or you’re picking up a few tips from your partner Mark on how to look relaxed on the outside whilst feeling a little anxious on the inside!!

A Life Changing Experience

On your first driving lesson with myself Yvonne, you mentioned having previously taken several driving lessons and a driving test with another driving school about three years ago. You also said that at the time you didn’t feel ready or confident enough to go for a driving test.

I hope this time around, deep down you felt more confident in your own ability behind the wheel and that has helped you to PASS your driving test!

Grab Those Car Keys and Go For a Spin!

Having both you and Mark just recently purchased a Volkswagen Polo, no doubt you’ll be itching to get behind the wheel and clock up a few miles on a sunny afternoon drive. Lets just hope there aren’t too many arguments about who’s driving!

Yvonne, it’s been an absolute pleasure teaching you to drive over the last few months, good luck with University and your future teaching career and best wishes from your Driving Instructor Ian and the rest of the team at Simply Driving Tuition Driving School.
